What does a native of Erschmatt mean by “Schnärfu”, or what is a “Neeschi”? What does a native of Salgesch call a bench? On behalf of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, Jennifer Skolovski has done some research on this subject. As part of the “Dialects” project, she followed the traces of the languages that connect the people in the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park. The result was a film with authentic and traditional words, and with amusing and tragic stories from the old days.
